Planning Reform - St Kilda Marina

The City of Port Philip has released plans for the redevelopment of the St Kilda marina.

Council has also adopted new planning controls for the precinct, which are now with the Minister for Planning for approval.

Echelon Director Mark Woodland undertook an expert review of the proposed planning controls for the precinct on behalf of Council, which was ultimately supported by the independent planning Panel in its report on Amendment C171 to the Port Phillip Planning Scheme.

You can read more about the redevelopment, planning controls and the Panel’s findings at https://www.portphillip.vic.gov.au/about-the-council/projects-and-works/st-kilda-marina-project

Congratulations to Council for the overall endorsement of the panning framework by the Independent Panel.

We look forward to seeing this important but tired facility rejuvenated in the coming years.
