Echelon Planning has a long track record of working with non-government schools to gain planning approvals for the expansion of school campuses to facilitate accelerated population growth.
We have recently worked with Salesian College to increase the capacity of the Mannix Campus in Chadstone by extending the existing Year 8 building and constructing a new Year 7 building. Designed by McIldowie Partners, the proposal creates more modern, enjoyable and inclusive classroom spaces to increase amenity and to promote a sense of school community, while enhancing the surrounding built form through well-designed interfaces. As the Chadstone Metropolitan Activity Centre nearby is expected to undergo intensification in the coming years, the increased capacity at Salesian College provides an additional educational option for current and prospective residents.
We look forward to the completion of the project that will provide more equitable and inclusive outcomes for the school community.

I read the post about the expansion of Salesian College Mannix Campus and it showed how upgrading facilities can create better learning spaces for students. Last semester when I was confused by lessons and falling behind I used undergraduate level course help because I needed extra support to complete assignments on time and understand difficult topics. That taught me that steady guidance and focused effort make challenging tasks feel more achievable.
I reckon you’ve raised some fair dinkum points in this piece, but I was just wondering what you think the biggest hurdle might be when we try to put these ideas into practice?
