Development Approval

Echelon has worked with the project team to obtain a permit for an apartment development on Toorak Road, Camberwell. The site presents an excellent opportunity for infill development having access to a range of local retail, education, recreation and community infrastructure and the Toorak Road tramline.

The concept design is to create a contemporary residential development which reflects the evolving urban context of Toorak Road and respects its residential interfaces. This is done by providing generous building setbacks and transitional building forms, while at the same time introducing contemporary materiality and architectural detailing.

 

The proposal has been carefully designed to ensure that each of the apartments have excellent internal amenity, with high levels of solar access and generous sized apartments and high quality private open space.
