Echelon Planning has worked closely with the project team and Stonington Council to obtain approval for a five storey apartment/mixed use development on Glenferrie Road within the Glenferrie Road/High Street Structure Plan area. Through consultation with objectors and Council, a permit was issued by Council and the application was not appealed through VCAT. The development provides for 11 apartments built over an at ground car park at the rear of an existing heritage building that is occupied by a medical centre.
The site has excellent access to public transport and is located close to the Malvern train station, services and retail opportunities. Council has identified the site as suitable for mixed use and higher residential densities within the Glenferrie Road/High Street Structure Plan.
